Yes, there is a bag policy at Kōmori Con.
For safety reasons, Kōmori Con will only allow con attendees to carry clear large bags (< 12” x 6” x 12”) or small bags/clutches/purses (≤ 4.5" x 6.5") inside the convention.
However, we understand that there are attendees that have reasons for carrying larger bags.
For those with medical supplies or photography equipment for performances, we ask that you check in appropriately and let our staff know about your condition/role so that we can be aware and tag your bag appropriately.
Bag Check-In will be located at the same table as Check In and Registration.
One of our volunteers will ask you to show the contents of your bag, regardless of size. If the bag does not meet our bag policy, we ask that you check in your bag.
Your bag will be tagged with a number tag, and you will be given a ticket so that you can reclaim your bag. Your bag will stored in the staff-only room. Please take what you deem important out of the bag. If you plan on reentering the con with your oversized bag, please recheck your bag for every entry.
NOTE: We plan to have the room monitored through most hours of the con's duration (and only staff members listed in the yearbook will be able to access this room), but we ask that you plan ahead for your con day and to minimize any potential loss as we cannot guarantee total security. Our team's recommendation is to bring what you can carry and to bring bags that meet our bag policy and do not need to be stored, as this policy is mostly designed as a last resort for bags and large items (i.e. props, large medical devices) that do not meet policy.
Yes, you can! However, we do have some guidelines you will have to follow if you want to bring them:
If your prop does not meet these guidelines, you will have to check them in at Bag Check-In at the check in and registration table.
Parking in front or under the convention center is reserved for staff and select vendors and performers/panelists.
If you are a vendor or performer/panelist at Kōmori Con and want to request parking, head to our Contact Us
